Disrespectful directorship - The Bourne Ultimatum Reviews

WARNING: Most people won't like this valid and truthful review. There are several reasons to go see a movie. Primary reasons are to hand over money to see a good story. Please emphasize: money, see and story. This piece will make money, but it wholly misses on the second part and barely functions on the last part. Most movie reviewers have written something like, "there is funny camera work, but you will like it." For me, a movie is for the most part visual story telling. Hence, these "critical reviewers" are telling you to endure the visual mess and try to enjoy the story. Sorry, in an age where steady cam is available to just about anyone, it seems ridiculous to have to face such disrespect a director has for his audience to have to endure such moronic childishness. If I want to ignore the reason for going to "see" a movie in the first place and concentrate on a story, I'll buy a book and read it. I'll conjure up my own visual images. Since the "story" in this piece has little or nothing to do with the book of the same name (and that's about all it has similar) there's not much to enjoy. The St. Vitas Dance school of direction and cinematography has again messed up what might have been a mediocre and maybe enjoyable movie going experience; instead of "seeing" a good "story," I complained to the management and got my money back.
